Your Child's First Dental Visit
When should I bring my child to the dentist? Short answer, as soon as they have teeth. Here's what will happen when they visit Battery Hill Dental, your local Caloundra dentist.
Free Dental For Your Kids
Your children aged 2 to 17 may be eligible for free dental care under the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), with $1000 of dental care over two years per child. It's a great opportunity to obtain dental care for your little ones.
Book For Free Dental »We will show them our fun equipment
We will create a fun environment where your child can get used to the tools we use.
Ride in the chair
If your child is comfortable, we will take them for a ride on the dental chair.
Counting teeth
If your child is going great, and feeling comfortable, we will count the teeth together, examining for problems as we go.
Toys to Keep Your Kids Entertained
Bring your child in when you come for your checkup. They can familiarise themselves with the dental environment, so your child doesn't develop dental anxiety. And if they get bored, we have children's movies and TV shows, and toys for them to play with.
