Dental Implants

It’s not uncommon to feel embarrassed or find it difficult to eat the food you love when you are missing teeth. We love seeing people get their confidence back through something as simple as a dental implant to replace missing teeth.

Replace missing teeth with a dental implant.

A dental implant is your fixed, more permanent, and more authentic-looking solution to missing teeth. With this procedure, a metal screw is surgically positioned into the jawbone, and a strong replacement tooth is attached to fill the gap of the missing tooth.

The result is a set of false teeth that are securely fused into your jawbone so they blend right in with the rest of your teeth.

Is a tooth extraction painful?
Our skilled and highly trained dentists can provide relatively painless tooth extraction using local anaesthetic as well as dental sedation. It is never completely comfortable, but is usually better then people expect.
What is the process of obtaining a dental implant?
Getting a dental implant is straightforward. First, your dentist would take a look at your bone structure. If suitable, a titanium screw is placed into your jaw bone. Then, two to six months later, a permanent dental implant is placed. You are given a temporary tooth to cover the gap, until the permanent dental implant is placed.
What post-extraction warning signs should I watch out for?
  • Bleeding for more than 4 hours after extraction
  • Numbness in the tongue, lips, or chin for more than 4 hours after extraction
  • Nausea, vomiting, and fever (infection)
  • Chest pain
  • Excessive swelling on the extraction site
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Shortness of breath
What happens after tooth extraction?
You will need to follow post operative instructions. Expect it to be sore, expect swelling, and expect it to take a while to feel better.
